2002/03 season - Weekend 1

The first two rounds of Divisions 3 and 4 were played at the West Bromwich Moat House on the weekend of November 9th and 10th. To quote one player, "What a wonderful venue".

It is tempting to say that in Division 3 Mindsportltd.com are in the driving seat. Not surprising, considering their top boards were Stirling and Moss. Numerica 3Cs 2, North West Eagles 2 and Bristol 2 also ended the weekend on 100%.

In Division 4 the battle between new clubs Metropolitan and Hilsmark Kingfisher was won by the former. Hilsmark fought hard but suffered two losses over the weekend and face the daunting prospect of meeting the two leading teams, Wood Green 3 and The ADs 3 in the next two rounds.
