In order that the 4NCL Women’s League can be submitted
for FIDE rating no player, whether entering individually or as part of a
team entry, may have a FIDE rating in excess of 2199 in the
month in which the relevant weekend is held. Any player
entering as an individual rather than as part of a team
entry needs to have had an ECF grade/rating (or other international
or national Elo equivalent) of 80/1300 or higher in the last ten
years. All games will be submitted for both FIDE rating and ECF
rating.

Team entry (£50.00 for one weekend, £100 for

Team entries should register at least four players, but
no more than six players, with an average ECF rating of at
least 1200 (or other international or national Elo
equivalent). The four highest-rated players in the team
must have an average ECF rating of at least 1300 (or other
international or national Elo equivalent).
Individual trophies for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place.
The English Chess Federation has waived the requirement
for ENG registered players to be ECF Gold members to play in
the 4NCL Women's League while it is establishing itself.
The entry forms allow players and/or team
captains/managers to request accommodation at the venue.
Entry forms are forwarded automatically to Guaranteed
Events, who will contact players and/or team
captains/managers to confirm accommodation arrangements. In

£39.50 BB per person per night (based on two sharing);
£69.00 BB per person per night (single occupancy); We
encourage players to stay at the venue and book via the
online entry form if at all possible - we have negotiated
discounted room rates for the 4NCL Women's League, and we
depend on decent bedroom take-up in order to justify the
free playing area that the hotel provides us with.
Teams will comprise four players, with
reserves allowed. The time limit will be all
moves in 60 minutes, with an increment of 30
seconds per move from move 1.

Players will be defaulted if they arrive at the board
more than 30 minutes after the scheduled start of a round.
The 4NCL accepts no responsibility for any damage, theft
or accident to the person or property of anyone attending
this event.
The 4NCL is unable to act in loco parentis for children
and is not able to take responsibility for any child's
actions, or for the actions of anyone that may affect a
child. Parents/guardians/teachers, as appropriate, agree to
the terms and conditions as set out in this entry form as a
condition of their entry. Parents/guardians/teachers are
responsible for the children in their charge throughout the
entire duration of this event.
No food or drink not purchased in the hotel may be
consumed on the premises. The definitive format of the
league will be determined once the number of entries is
known. In submitting an entry form and entry fee team
organisers, parents/guardians/teachers and participants
agree to all terms and conditions included in this document
and in the rules.
