Each team has one white-on-odds and one black-on-odds per weekend.
Each team plays one stronger team and one weaker team per weekend.

The teams from the first section (A to H) are then ranked 1a, 2a, 3a, 4a, 5a, 6a, 7a, 8a according to the finishing order in the 7-match all-play-all. The teams from the second section (P-W) are similarly ranked 1b to 8b.

The teams 1a - 4a and 1b - 4b form a league of 8 teams in which each team has already played 3 of the opposing teams. These results are carried forward. Teams in this league are playing for the championship of the division or promotion (if this is possible).

The teams 5a - 8a and 5b - 8b form a league of 8 teams in which each team has already played 3 of the opposing teams. These results are carried forward. Teams in this league are playing to avoid relegation.
